The practice page for the 2021 competition is now up. It is not a full length practice test and is only meant to help students become more familiar with the testing system. The practice page is accessible here.
The 2021 competition begins at 1 pm CT on Saturday, June 19th. The test will be accessible here at that time. Until then, it is unavailable.
Registration is reserved for middle school girls (from 6th to 8th grade). To register for this event, please submit this google form (http://bit.ly/migregister2021) before the competition date. Once registered, participants will receive an email containing the link to the individual competition as well as a Zoom link for the awards ceremony and seminar.
The individual round consists of a 25-question test, similar to the AMC8, that assesses participants on their knowledge of mathematics. The link will be emailed to all participants, and the test will be held on our website (http://mathinviteforgirls.com/). Once the test is opened on June 19th at 1 pm CT, all participants will have 40 minutes to complete and submit it.
Zoom Awards Ceremony and Seminar
After the competition, we will be hosting a seminar and awards ceremony on June 19th at 3 pm CT, two hours after the test. Speakers at the seminar include two professors from Harvard and UMichigan and a student from Duke in STEM fields who the MIG team personally invited! The Zoom information for this meeting is below:
